What information do we collect?

Information supplied by you

Homes for Londoners users are required to provide their name, email, mobile number and living and working circumstances so we can create and administer your account.

This information is stored privately in your Homes for Londoners profile and will not be displayed on the site itself. You can update this information at any time in your profile dashboard.

How your data will be used

Affordable housing has local eligibility criteria - the requirement is to live or work in the borough - which requires applicants to have a local connection to the borough a property is located in. We therefore use the information you provide to identify properties you may be eligible for.

By using the services available through Homes for Londoners, you can opt-in to share personal information with housing providers and/or their appointed sales agents for the following purposes:

• registering interest in a property
• booking an open day viewing
• checking your eligibility for a property
• receiving alerts for properties like those you have expressed an interest in

The section includes an additional, but optional, eligibility check service offered by Censeo Financial Ltd, an independent financial advisor. The information required for this service is not stored in your profile.

You can choose to opt-in and provide personal information to Censeo Financial Ltd so they can assess your financial status. This will allow both you and the housing association and/or their appointed sales agents to understand whether you can afford and sustain the costs of a property prior to reservation.

This is an eligibility check, not a credit check and is no guarantee a mortgage can be obtained. Censeo Financial Ltd will not assess your credit rating.

Your name, email and telephone number will be anonymised and Censeo Financial Ltd will be allocated a unique number to identify you.

This means Censeo Financial Ltd will not be able to contact you unless you have chosen to receive information from them or contact them regarding the eligibility decision.

Email marketing

You will only receive emails relating to your preferences, which can be controlled in your user dashboard at any time.

Keaze

The Homes for Londoners section is powered by Keaze, a national Shared Ownership website created by Full Comms who the Greater London Authority have contracted to deliver the Homes for Londoner section.

The information you provide will not be accessible by Keaze and you will not receive any communication from Keaze unless you have signed up to their services.
